We collect quality donated furniture and selected household items to help support animals in our care. Collections are currently carried out on Fridays between 9am and 4pm.

Current collection area: CV1, CV2, CV3, CV4, CV5, CV6, CV7, CV10, CV11, CV12 and CV13. We’re growing the service in carefully planned stages, with additional postcode areas to be added as our collection capacity expands.

The form takes only a few minutes. We currently accept collection requests from CV1, CV2, CV3, CV4, CV5, CV6, CV7, CV10, CV11, CV12 and CV13, and we review every request before confirming a collection. Approved collections are currently scheduled on Fridays only, between 9am and 4pm.

Save time before submitting

What we prefer to collect

Items need to be clean, complete, safe and suitable for resale. Photos allow our team to make an initial assessment.

Living & Dining

Sofas, armchairs, dining tables, dining chairs, sideboards and bookcases.

Bedroom Furniture

Wardrobes, chests of drawers, dressing tables and reusable bed frames.

Selected Electricals

Some working household electrical items may be considered. Please include clear details and photos so the team can confirm suitability.

Key collection rules

Three checks that prevent wasted journeys

Meeting these requirements helps us protect donors, staff and future customers.

Valid fire labels

Accepted upholstered furniture, including sofas and armchairs, must have an attached and readable fire-safety label.

Clean, dry and saleable

Items must be free from major stains, odours, structural damage, missing parts and heavy wear.

Safe access

Furniture should be on the ground floor or easily and safely reachable by the collection team. Tell us about stairs, narrow doors and parking.

Items we do not collect

Please do not submit a collection request for the items below unless our team has specifically confirmed otherwise.

Damaged or unsuitable goods

  • Broken, dirty, stained, incomplete or unsafe furniture
  • Items affected by damp, mould, smoke, pests or strong odours
  • Flat-pack furniture that is dismantled, unstable or missing fixings

Baby & children’s safety items

  • Car seats and booster seats
  • Drop-side cots and second-hand mattresses
  • Toys without a CE or UKCA mark
  • Children’s clothing with unsafe hood drawstrings

Safety equipment

  • Bike, motorcycle and riding helmets
  • Safety harnesses and climbing equipment
  • Buoyancy aids and similar protective equipment

Clothing, bedding & hygiene items

  • Used mattresses, duvets and pillows
  • Used underwear or unsealed swimwear
  • Unwashed bedding and heavily soiled textiles
  • Nightwear or fancy dress without required labels

Electricals we cannot safely accept

  • Untested or damaged mains-powered items
  • Electric blankets and unsafe power tools
  • White goods unless working and agreed by the team in advance
  • Items with missing plugs, exposed wires or damaged casings

Prohibited goods

  • Weapons and knives
  • Prescription medications
  • Alcohol and illegal goods
  • Real fur and other prohibited products
